ANT SINGLES
BOX SET 
The suggestion is for two singles box sets to be released. The first one would cover all singles credited to Adam And The Ants, from 1978 to 1982. These number 12 in total (including A.N.T.S., which has been included to balance the quantity of discs per box). The second box covers all of Adam Ant's solo releases, from 1982 to 1995. These number 13 in total. All discs are packaged in slim CD cases. All sleeves will display the exact artwork of the original release. The back will also be based on the original back cover (except for the track listings, as they differ on most titles). In some cases, the singles had more than one version of the sleeve, so that may be included within the inside of the CD sleeve (minimum four pages). Although for the first prototype we kept to just the backs and fronts of the singles' sleeves. All music contained on each disc will be the absolute correct versions that featured on the initial releases. The whole point of this is to give the fans an archive of all 25 Ant singles, and any compromising of the versions would only result in the product losing its appeal. It would also serve the purpose of giving fans the definitive Ant singles collection. Something no compilation has ever done. However, bonus tracks have been added for the sake of completeness. Some tracks have simply never been released on CD...ever. Lady, Press Darlings (in the UK), 'Antmusic' (single version [03:15]), Deutscher Girls (Jubilee soundtrack version), Cartrouble (Part 1) (Antmusic EP version [fades out]), Cartrouble (Part 2) (Antmusic EP version [fades out]), Kick (The B-Sides/Antmusic EP version), Physical (The B-Sides/Antmusic EP version), Puss 'n Boots (extended), Kiss the Drummer (extended), Strip (extended), Yours, Yours, Yours (extended), Apollo 9 (Orbit mix), Vive Le Rock (ReMixed), plus various mixes of Room At The Top and Rough Stuff, plus versions and tracks from the EMI singles era. All brought together here for the first time as they should be. 
What follows is a detailed break down of each single with regards to track listings, versions and where they can be located. If this product can be implemented without the desire to cut corners, then it would be the perfect Ant archive to own. Each single contains links to detailed pages on the releases and links where to find some of the harder to find versions. Additional links can be found by clicking on the record sleeves. Initially, an early, unpublished version of this very page was sent to Marco to plant a seed for a future project idea back in 2005. For 2006 another seed was planted. The prototype of 25 CD singles packaged in slim cases and divided into two newly designed boxes was handed over to Adam Ant during his book signing in London. Only one such set exists, as it's too costly to run off more. There is a plan to make a second copy for Marco to give to him in November 2007, but it was just too time consuming. I don't even own a copy, so hopefully, any future copies will come from the Sony/BMG in October 2008, as it has been announced that such a singles box set is being planned. To make such a project complete, there will be licensing issues with other record companies, so it is not known at this stage what tracks are planned. What I do know is that a 7" vinyl singles box set is planned in time for the 30th Anniversary of the first Adam And The Ants single, Young Parisians. That will then be followed by a CD version of that same box set. That hints to me that if there's no room for the bonus tracks included on my box set on the vinyl 45's, then we won't see them on the CD version. But there's still time to campaign for that. And now the product wishes to speak for itself...
