New Daler Mehndi/Wolfmen track unveiled

Wolfmen News - Another track from the Daler Mehndi collaboration with The Wolfmen has been unveiled, hot on the heals of Two Eyes (Do Naina).

I can reveal that the title is "Kachi Tut Giy" and proves, yet again, that this unique blend of bhangra melodies and punk guitars can only get bigger.

It is not known whether this track is planned as a follow-up single to Two Eyes (out digitally on October 16th), but it's sure to appear on the new Daler Mehndi/Wolfmen album, Thieves & Liars.

There's a definite Stand & Deliver feel to the the rhythm of "Kachi Tut Giy" as it gallops along at a stomping pace. It really makes you want to gag for more.

Both artists have been in the Raezor Studios in London cutting new tracks for Thieves And Liars, which is being produced by The Wolfmen, and mixed by Steve Musters (of Amy Winehouse, PJ Harvey, Paul McCartney, and The Sugababes fame).

Two Eyes has been storming the BBC Asian Network chart for the past two months, and it's only a matter of time before the programme presenters get their hands on Kachi Tut Giy to keep them on the top.

Daler Mehndi & The Wolfmen will be performing live on October 26th 2007 at the Jazz Cafe, Camden, London as they headline as part of the BBC Electric Proms. Expect the BBC to have video footage of this unique performance as the guys perform tracks from Thieves & Liars. Doors open at 7pm and tickets are FREE. Details on how to get your hands on them will be available in October.
