Chris Hughes News - The former Wolfmen and Ants drummer and producer, Chris 'Merrick' Hughes has appeared in the April 2008 edition of monthly UK magazine Computer Music.

The magazine, which is aimed at those who make music on their PC's and Macs features tips, reviews and production secrets along with a DVD full of music samples and music making software.

The Reader Music section of the magazine are encouraged to "share some music with your fellow readers and pick up some expert advice on improving your mixes at the same time...".

The section features a different guest producer each week to comment on one of the submitted tracks. Normally, it's not that unusual to see ex-Ant collaborater John Reynolds sitting in the hot seat, however for this issue, the publishers have tracked down Chris Hughes. (It may have something to do with the fact that both the publication and Chris are based in Bath, England.)

The track which has been singled out for Chris' analysis is Louder Please by Uno-Mot (aka Matthew Fleming) and can be heard on the Uno-Mot MySpace page (linked below).

Chris Hughes is also the drummer and producer on the forthcoming single by the Wolfmen, which is a cover version of Brian Eno's Needle In The Camel's Eye and released on Damaged Goods on April 14th 2008 (DAMGOOD303) backed with Zip Gun and Mother Of Mystery.
