AntComics! interview and new strips
AntComics! News - Amy Hankins, the creator of the latest Ant comic strip to hit the Internet, has been interviewed online by the Great Scott Comix site. In the interview (linked below) Amy describes how she started drawing, became hooked on the Ants and even reveals how she puts her AntComics! strips together. We even find out how long some of them can take to do. On top of that, some of Amy's work is planned to be shown at the forthcoming Ant Lib All Dayer at the Eve Club, London on November 3rd. To help her decide which strips will be on display, you can vote via her MySpace blog. A link to that blog page appears below. Before we move on to the latest AntComics! strips, it seems Amy's influence on her comic drawing pals is rubbing off. Adam makes a cameo appearance in a strip by MadScott. A link is provided below The 100th Zorphbert & Fred strip by Dawn Griffin also features an Adam cameo. The colours and quality of this piece is superb. Guess what? Link below. Since my last article on AntComics!, Amy has produced two more strips. The first is a full colour piece called "Cold". In it, our star has a bit of cold and just has to sneeze. I just love how Adam calls his partner in crime Barco in this one. One of her best. Guess where you can find the link? The other strip is another of Amy's brilliant commissions. Wayne, who's the hyper enthusiastic singer with Ant tribute band Antmuzic. In it all five members have been caricatured superbly. If you find Amy's work as entertaining as I do, then please show your appreciation by voting daily for her by clicking on the image below. Related links
