An eighth band has been added to the line up. The West
Midlands-based UK punk covers band Punk'd are now part of the
biggest live Ant event of the year (sorry Stan). You can listen to some
of their tracks on their
MySpace
page or have a peek at their
main site.
The brand new AntFest merchandise has been unveiled and can be purchased
exclusively at CafePress.com. The range is quite extensive, so
have a little peep
here.
Lastly, internet radio podcasters Punky Radio aired an AntFest filled
show last month. Presenters Paul & Tony interview CatBoy (Mantra II),
Simon (Antflavour) and Wayne (Antmusik/Ligotage) - all front men from
the AntFest 2007 bands.
It has to be said this is pure, crazy and full-on entertainment radio at
it's funniest! And what's more,
Punky Radio broadcast weekly,
whereas Carty FM struggles to air once a month! You can listen to
(or download) that show via the link
HERE.
For some reason they seem to be including me in the
AntFest band count (which was seven
at the time of the airing)! Somehow I think the expectations of
an MC seem to be more than what I anticipated. Let the singing lessons
commence! (Unless the rumours of the Family Of Hindus appearing
are true?)
