Adam Ant in 'worst waxwork' auction
Adam Ant News - A waxwork of Adam Ant from a Tussaud's museum, dubbed the "world's worst waxworks", is to go under the hammer next month (Feb 2007). Louis Tussaud's House Of Wax museum in Great Yarmouth, England has already put up quite a few damn fugly wax busts for auction, as UK newspapers, the Daily Mail, Great Yarmouth Mercury and the Telegraph report on their websites (links below). Wax heads of Prince Charles and John Travolta are the best of the throat-gagging bunch. Models of Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey and Who Wants To Be A Milionaire host Chris Tarrant bear litle resemblence to their real deals.
It has to be said that Louis Tussaud is the grandson of the world famous Madame Tussaud and that the exhibits in his House Of Wax would never make it into the museums of his grandmother. Nevertheless, next month, the public will be able to bid on such fugly beings as Adam Ant, Barry Sheen, Robin Cousins, Harold Macmillan, ex-US president Jimmy Carter and Diana, Princess of Wales.
