- Adam Ant's video of Goody Two Shoes has been completely
recreated with Lego™ blocks!
German Ant fan Formicula has followed
in the foot steps of Dutch dance duo Jeckyll & Hyde and used
Lego™ bricks and figurines for the whole video.
Whereas Jeckyll & Hyde use the animation to
depict clubbers off on a night out dancing, Formy has expertly recreated every
scene from the Goody Two Shoes promo.
A VCD of Goody 2 Bricks was
given to me at AntFest 2007 in Birmingham by Formi in the hope that the
venue could play it. Unfortunately they didn't, so fans were never able to
see it (or clips from the Digital Tenderness DVD!). However, a viewing in
my hotel room proved most enjoyable. A work of art.
Since then Formi, who owns the German
language antmusic.de site,
has posted Goody 2 Bricks on his YouTube page for everyone to
enjoy. As I am opposed to embedding ugly looking YouTube video images on
this site you'll have to click the link below or the still above to go to the
site to watch the clip.
