The Wolfmen album due July 2008

Wolfmen News - Damaged Goods, the label behind Marco Pirroni and Chris Constantinou's current project, The Wolfmen, have confirmed to this site that the new album will be released this summer.

The album, which still retains the title "Modernity Killed Every Night", has been hinted at for the past few years and will become a reality in July 2008.

Damaged Goods have also confirmed that it will be released on vinyl, CD and digital download. The catalogue number is DAMGOOD 308, although the track listing has not yet been finalised.

In the meantime, The Wolfmen's "Needle In The Camel's Eye" is also released on Damaged Goods on May 5th 2008 (DAMGOOD 303) backed with "Zip Gun" and "Mother Of Mystery".

The band will perform their third live gig this week at the 333 Motherbar (Thursday 17th April 2008).

Plus, The Wolfmen MySpace blog (link below) has published details of a one hour radio show dedicated to the music of The Wolfmen and the tracks that inspired them.

Featured in the online Red Bull Music Academy Radio show, will be an interview with Chris Contantinou who has supplied the programme's playlist. Expect to hear half a dozen Wolfmen tracks including two songs recorded with Daler Mehndi. The full list is on their MySpace page.
