Ant News - An interview with former Ants
guitarist Johnny Bivouac (real name John Beckett) has appeared on the new
Slapdash Eden page on MySpace.
The lengthy and very detailed interview goes into
detail about Adam Ant as a performer, musician and songwriter. He also talks
about his time recording and gigging with the Ants.
He ends the article talking about Jordan and how he
left the Ants.
John played with the Ants from October 1977 to May
1978 and has since moved on to other projects, namely producing the Rolf Harris
album that spawned the single Stairway To Heaven.
He also featured in the line-up of The Holy
Spitfires which also featured Marco Pirroni, Andy Warren and
Mark Alleyne on
vocals. They recorded three Ant tracks, Ligotage, Weekend Swinger,
Send A
Letter To Jordan which were never released.
