The common red sleeve

Carty News - Adam And The Ants' most successful single, Stand And Deliver, has been remixed for 2008.

The new remix, which is the third Carty remix of this track, exclusively uses Marco Pirroni's slow version of Stand And Deliver which came from the Digital Tenderness DVD menu sessions recorded back in 2005.

There are four variations of Stand And Deliver 2008, with the Main Mix completing the tenth volume of the Carty Mixes Ant remix compilation CDs.

For the first time ever, a video has been produced for the remix's radio edit. It's based on the original Mike Mansfield video from 1981, with some additional dodgy editing to fill in the gaps.

The rare blue sleeve

A Dance Mix (without the slow Marco intro and outro) was also produced and sent to DMC, however it's probably unlikely they'll repeat the success of the Rachel Stevens vs Adam Ant Carty mix from 2005.

The last mix is the Instrumental version of the 2008 radio edit. This uses the original Adam And The Ants backing track, which has Adam's main vocal removed. Perfect for a modern karaoke night, or even a tribute act's backing track.

The CD single sleeve has been designed as usual by Ant Lady and comes in two flavours, red and blue. Red was voted a close winner as the favourite and the blue sleeve has now been reserved for special occasions only.
