Zerøx by Client available
Carty News - After 22 demos, the Carty
remix of the Youth produced Zerøx has been completed.
The British female trio, Client, recorded the cover
version a few months ago and a promo CD of club remixes were sent out to DJ's.
The track is expected to appear on their new album in 2007.
This new remix came very close to having the Client
parts substituted for the Adam and the Ants' original, but it was decided to stay upfront.
I even came close to using the backing track for my own version, but gave in to
that idea too.
The remix becomes track five on
►Carty Mixes Volume 5
and is available to download at
►MySpace (128kbps) and at
►antfan.com (160kbps).
The reason it's almost ten minutes long is that I decided to follow the old
Frankie Goes To Hollywood style of 12" mixes, using an instrumental before the
song kicks in.
