Wolfmen News
- The Daler Mehndi And The Wolfmen collaboration, "Two Eyes",
has today climbed up to Number 2 in the BBC Asian Network Chart, in just
it's third week.
The track climbed six places from Number 14 to Number 8 last week and elevates
by an other six places to just behind Chardi Khalla at Number 1.
Two Eyes has also attained an A Playlisting on the network
and it has to be a matter of time before it crosses over to the mainstream
BBC networks. The track opened the recent Carty FM Podcast and has
been receiving heavy rotation across the globe, from the US to Germany.
However one question remains unanswered...when is it
released?
Meanwhile
staying with The Wolfmen, if you're in the UK, make sure you tune in to
Britain's Next Top Model tomorrow night at 9pm on Living TV. For the past
five weeks a set of beautiful girls, each with designs on becoming a new
fashion model, have been set a task. This week's talk is to dance and
perform in the video for The Wolfmen's new single - Cecilie.
The video was filmed back in February by Paul Hills at a
completely made-over Café De Paris. It features Chris and
Marco and
an array of colourful characters from the London underworld. And, in
amongst it all, the Britain's Next Top Model hopefuls which by this week's
episode are down to just seven.
Who gets to star in the video? How did the filming
go? And how did the finished video turn out? Switch on on tomorrow
to find out.
Cecilie is released on September 17th with
Lou Reed's Do The Ostrich on the 7" and CD single.
The latter has an extra track Look Like Tarzan, Sing Like Jane.
Cecilie is also featured on the current Carty FM Podcast.
